What time would that be, you ask? Almost time for Macon's annual Cherry Blossom Festival of course. This year, it is being held from March 18th through March 27th. There are many events as always and there will be something for everyone. It's the pinkest party on earth after all. From Tunes and Balloons to the Street Party where Big Boi (of Outkast) will be performing, as well as Grammy nominated country artist Jamey Johnson. It's a party and celebration you don't want to miss. Check out all the events and make your plans today. 
As has become somewhat of a tradition, yours truly and the Mrs. will be volunteering at the Street Party and whatever else we are asked to help out with. We like to give back to the community whenever we get the opportunity, not to mention, it is always a lot of fun and it is always interesting to meet new people. Where else can you see local meteorological celebrities dancing in the streets, and doing the Cupid Shuffle no less? Yes, Ben Jones, we all saw you and I wouldn't be surprised if there was video somewhere out there! To be honest, he was pretty good, though. With it's rich history and so much fun to be had for the whole family, it's a recipe for good times. Now, get ready to get out there and enjoy as much of it as you can. And don't forget to thank the many people who work behind the scenes tirelessly throughout the year to make this event happen. Their hard work and determination is something to be proud of and The Cherry Blossom Festival is something for all of the people of Central Georgia to be proud of. See you there!
